SAMS stands for Students Academic Management System. It has two
components e-Admission & e-Administration. SAMS presently
supports online admission for Higher Secondary, Degree,
Post-graduations, ITI, Diploma, PDIS, Teacher Education,
Physical Education, correspondence and Music,
Dance & Drama Education institutions
e-Admission is nothing but online admission carried out for various
courses (as answered in the ques-1) of Odisha.
The detailed process of admission is explained in the
Common Prospectus (CP) available separately for different courses.
Various information such as HSSs name, Principal, Admission I/C & DEO
contact details & detailed profile of different
HSSs coming under the e-Admission process can be obtained
from the website i.e.

The common timeline for e-Admission is published on the website

The Common Application Form (CAF) can be accessed through
"New Student Login" module available in the website
www.samsodisha.gov.in
in along with the CP which guides you to apply the CAF correctly.
Yes, you need to apply online through the CAF following the guidelines
of the CP, take print copy of the Applicant CAF and keep it with
you for further process at the time of admission.
You can check the HSS information available on the website
and get various details such as availability of streams,
strength & contact details of HSSs.
An applicant has to choose minimum three (03) & maximum ten (10) nos. of
higher secondary school (HSS) as preferences of choice in her/his CAF.
An option is a combination of a particular Institutions & Stream/Trade.
You should exercise your options in order of preference only i.e.
the most preferred option to be opted first.
No. The selection will be conducted on the basis of merit & reservations.
Student will be selected against any one option only.
Yes, you can visit any of the nearest H.S.Schools to get
your doubts cleared.

or DEO of the H.S.Schools for this.

•₹300/- per CAF for General category applicants
•₹200/- per CAF for ST/SC applicants (provide authentic documents for verification & validation during the time of admission at HSS). If the ST/SC applicants fail to show the authentic documents, they will have to make payment of ₹300/- in their admission HSS.
•₹0.0/- per CAF for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) of more than 40% disability, Transgender and Orphan applicants (Authentic document has to be submitted at the time of admission).
•No refunds can be claimed at a later date.
No. Once the CAF is submitted online and payment has been completed,
no modifications can be made. However, If you have applied by
giving some wrong information, then you can apply another CAF
by using a different mobile number.
The merit lists will be published in due course of the
scheduled date & time,
which will available in the SAMS Portal i.e.
www.samsodisha.gov.in
for information of public.
You will also be intimated exclusively through SMS & Email
(if mobile number & email address is provided in the CAF)
about the selection status of an applicant.
You can also download the intimation letter from
your student's login.
You will get the complete status of your application by
logging in to your own student e-Space portal
www.samsodisha.gov.in
List of the documents required is given in the Intimation Letter.
Arrange all the requisites for admission such as original certificates
for verification, CAF print-out copy, passport size photo,
admission fees & report to the Principal of the destination
college on the scheduled date & time.
Admission will be completed in one selection cycle.
There is no reservation for OBC/SEBC applicants.
No postal intimation to the selected applicants will be sent.

received sms/email if selected.
